John Pantakis with his team of musicians took the audience on a Musical adventure, travelling across shores and over the land of Greece, delighting all as the journey unfolded.

As events took place it was the “Wind of Love” which captivated all at  the beginning of the evening,  slowly moving onto the relaxing mood of the “Evergreen Gardens’ where the melodies blossomed ” With soil and water “, as the tempo strengthened to fal into the warm embrace of the” Great country ” with the musical compositions of John Pantaki, inspired by the lyrics of Leneti Strani, Dionysia Mousouros, Francesca Koliva Stelios Lykouresis,  Efstathios Loizos, Talbot Kefallinos and Kosntantinou Manos.

In the footsteps of our wonderful poets Odysseas Elytis, Manolis Anagnostakis, Tassos Livaditis, Michalis Bourboulis, Giannis Theodorakis and Leonidas Malenis, with Mikis Theodorakis, Elias Andriopoulos and Dimitris Lagios, Yannis Pantakis with immeasurable respect and inspired orchestrated and bestowed on these “evergreens” melodies.

The performances of Andriana Lykouresis, Hara Evangelinelis and John Pantakis played a decisive role in the success of the evening. A very pleasant surprise was the sensual presence of the female choir “Rodambelos” under the direction of Andriana Lykouresis.

It is worth pointing out that this particular choir consists of women from Zakynthos, whom of which are without musical knowledge but have come together based on their love for music and for the musical tradition of Zakynthos. Under the guidance of their Maestro, Rodambelos will be led to paths where undeniably they will leave their mark.

A musical evening is not complete and is lost if it is not supported by a robust orchestra. An indeed the evening was supported with skill and professionalism for the performers and creations of John Pantakis.  Matoula Fooratou and Spyros Gakoumelos on the mandolin, Marina Eliadou and Elizabeth Stamati with their exquisite  violin skills, Athena Xanthakou and Dimitris Pelekanos performing on the classical guitar, Dionisis Tourakakis , with his expertise and talent playing the piano, Vaghinak Galoyian on  bass and John Pantakis himself playing the acoustic guitar.
Panagiotis Kontostalakis, creator of the “Ghernos” Cultural and Sport Club of Zakynthos, presented the program and its presentation.

The wonderful evening was completed with an  honorary award going to  Christodoulos Tsakireli by the Board Director and the President of the association “Rodambelos’,  Andriana Lykouresis the Association for the support and contribute to the creation and providing legal status for the association.

In the crowded room of the Anna and Maria Kalouta, special guests were found among others, the internationally renowned Greek singer Aliki Kagialoglou, Peggy Lagiou, the internationally renowned Greek guitarist Panagiotis Margaris, the conductor of the Navy band Giorgos Tsilimbaris and the conductor of the Underground Youth Orchestra Kostas Iliadis.

The Music event was supported by ” the Union of  Zakynthos,  Athens ‘ Agios Dionysios “, the” Dance Workshop Nea Ionia ” the non-profit organization “Crossroads of Civilizations “and the record company ” Mirror Sounds True.
