There were two explosions at the Tsilivi ATMs, which were opposite the Primary School. The explosion work residents in the area around 3:20 am.
There was minor damage to cars and nearby shops, with the perpetrators leaving empty handed after the cartridges were not opened and the ATM was empty of money.
A cutter (tool) was also found at the spot, which will be examined for any fingerprints by the Police. Explosive experts will also be involved int he investigation from Patras.
Police are investigating CCTV cameras in the vicinity of the ATM in order to find the perpetrators.
