EODY announced on Friday, April 16, 3,067 cases of coronavirus, 91 deaths and 824 intubated.
The announcement of EODY in detail:
“The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 3,067, of which 13 were identified after checks at the country’s gates.
The total number of cases amounts to 311,033 (daily change + 1.0%), of which 51.3% men. Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 57 are considered related to travel from abroad and 2,990 are related to an already known case.
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 91, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 9,330 deaths have been recorded. 95.5% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
The number of patients treated by intubation is 824 (61.5% men). Their average age is 68 years. 85.1% have an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,927 patients have been discharged from the ICU. The admission of new Covid-19 patients to the hospitals of the territory is 547 (daily change + 3.99%). The average seven-day admission is 514 patients. The average age of cases is 44 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the average age of death is 79 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
Attica records the most new cases of coronavirus in Greece today for another 24 hours and on Friday, April 16, according to the distribution of cases announced by EODY. Specifically, out of the 3,067 total cases of coronavirus, 1,381 new cases are recorded in Attica, 425 were detected in Thessaloniki, while another 81 cases were recorded in Achaia.
