Yesterday three other positive cases of coronavirus were confirmed on our island. Specifically, after a rapid test, a 17-year-old, a 22-year-old and a 54-year-old were all found positive with the coronavirus. All three underwent molecular testing and will remain in quarantine at home as they all have mild symptoms.
Today, 7 cases were announced by the General Hospital of Zakynthos. 5 are women and 2 are men.
The women are aged 22, 28 (2), 18 and 61. The men are 27 and 51 years old. Out of the 7 cases, 5 concern contacts of confirmed cases.
All seven are in quarantine at home.
Last night (12/03) a 54-year-old man was admitted to the covid clinic, he was diagnosed positive three days ago and while he was at home, he did not feel well and went to the hospital.
So, at the moment, 8 people are being treated at the covid clinic.
We wish them all a speedy recovery.
