A 10-day quarantine for Dutch who return from Greek islands

A new travel directive was issued by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Greek islands. Placing them on the “orange” list due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The new measure will come into effect from today, September 8 and concerns all those returning to the Netherlands from any of the Greek islands.

Those who return should quarantine for ten days, and anyone with Covid-19 symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath, cough and runny nose should contact the appropriate authorities.

 

Excluded from the 10-day quarantine are people working on ships, people who have to visit their families for emergencies, health workers and the military, according to the Dutch De Telegraaf.
