A true Zakynthian event this Sunday 15/12/19.

An anniversary event will take place this Sunday at the Cultural Centre (Theatre) at Sarakinado.

Celebrating 30 years of their historical foundation, the men’s choir of “Faneromeni” under the Maestro Stamatis Filiakos send an invitation to all. Faneromeni is one of the oldest choirs in Zakynthos. Part of the parish of the church Faneromeni, they have entertained many throughout the Island.

Not only singing Hymns at their church. They are also very well known for their Zakynthian serenades and kantades. They also have sung at many events throughout Greece and Internationally, having sung in Cyprus, Italy, Germany and recently appeared on a television programme in Holland.


The event will start at 19.00p.m this Sunday 15th December, 2019

The concert will be in honour of the founders and their families, past presidents Dionysaki Melita and Spyros Zougras. The very first Maestro of the choir, Mr Hlia Thoma. In addition they will be honouring those who were members of the past.


Taking part in the event will be the historic “Mantolinata of Zakynthos 1958” with Maestro Mr Babi Platipothi and…

The “Mantolinata of Lithakias”., with Maestro Mr Takis Korianiti.

The event will also have a video of old photographs showing their historic path towards 2019 and at the end of the event typical Zakynthian treats.. “Kerasma”

A truly traditional Zakynthian event, definitely not an event to miss!  Entrance is free.
