Blue Air brings Bucharest passengers to Zakynthos!

Things are slowly opening up in Zakynthos, and flights from all over Europe are starting to arrive on the island. On the 1st July Zakynthos welcomed its first Blue Air (Fly Blue Air) charter flight carrying passengers from Bucharest in Romania!

The plane and its passengers received a great welcome at Zakynthos airport, including two fire engines who gave the plane a water cannon salute! Blue Air is operating flights to a number of Greek destinations this summer. As well as Zakynthos, Greek flight destinations include Athens, Rhodes, Heraklion, and Mykonos too.

It’s great to finally be seeing our international visitors arriving on the island. We welcome you all and look forward to seeing more of you soon!
