According to reports, ferry prices are due to go up more than likely a euro more. This is because of the new laws imposed in regards to fuel changes, which will cost the companies more to operate.
In addition to the increase in cost more details required from the passenger when booking tickets is needed by law. Date of Birth and Nationality are just some of the requirements.
The changes will take place on the 1st of January, 2020.
Companies have asked that tickets be prepaid so as to avoid long queues due to the extra information required. Bookings can be made on line to avoid such possible delays.
The 10 minute booking before the ferry boat leaves will apply no more.
