Luxury yachts have filled the Zakynthos harbour recently, and an impressive yacht known as the “cloudbreak” was no exception.
The owner of the boat is a Russian businessman, Mr Alexander Svetakov, who is one of the biggest property owners in the Moscow region and has most of his land in New Moscow. Cloudbreak is chartered out among some of the wealthiest people throughout the world.
The 73 metre expedition yacht, got its name “Cloudbreak” after a legendary surfing reef located in the South Pacific and was designed for extreme exploration, and is fully equipped for adventures in the most remote parts of the world.
It was built in Germany by Abeking and Rasmussen in the year of 2016 and its cost was around 120 million U.S dollars. It has now been managed for charter by Super Yachts of Monaco.
The expedition yacht can welcome up to twelve charter guests overnight within its six cabins and also has ability to have twenty two cabin crew sleeping within its 11 cabins. Its maximum cruising speed can be up to twelve knots thus making it a spectacular sight when in cruise mode.
So, who was actually on the boat, perhaps no one will ever know, however the sight of her in docked in our port was truly an awesome one.
