CORONAVIRUS:- Increase in COVID-19… more restrictions in Northern Greece.

The list of cases of coronavirus in our country is growing. As of today, Tuesday 31/03/20220,  82 new cases were recorded, with the total number reaching 1,314.

According to a spokesman for the Ministry of Health Professor of Infectious Diseases, Sotiris Tsiodras, 20 were from crew members from a cruise ship among the cases.

A total of 49 coronavirus deaths in our country, 85 patients are intubated with the average age being 66 years. 17 are women and the rest are men. 57% have some underlying health problems.

Six people have been discharged from ICUs.

Of the 49 dead, 37 are men. The average age of the deceased is 72 years.

Today we have the highest number of deaths (7 in total) and the highest daily increase in ICU patients (+13).

Most confirmed cases are still in Athens.

To date, 16,732 laboratory samples have been tested.

Whilst in 5 municipalities local measures have been taken. These areas are not in Zakynthos but are within the Northern part of Greece.

Starting from today Kastoria, Orestidos, Mikis, Nestoriou and Xanthi the total ban on movement of citizens from 20.00p.m.
