As we have heard the stroies of late about people abusing the measures that have been put in place by our Government, time restrictions are being planned.
The government has been collecting data over that last few days and is preparing for the next step according to sources.
A time limit is being considered on the movement of citizens requesting a travel permit since 13033 was put into programme.
The plan, according to newspaper sources, will provide a fixed time once the citizen sends a message to 13033. The time allowing the person to do what he/she has to and return home.
The government notes that there is a huge response, as citizens send incessant messages to 13033 informing them of their movements, however, the flexibility of the measure enables them to and then…… go even further with no time limit.
With signs suggesting that we have entered the phase of the scourge and loss of lives due to the coronavirus, the government is considering how to reduce the unnecessary movements of older people belonging to vulnerable groups.
With its, likely, application, notes the same source, the written confirmation of leaving the house that does not show the time the form was written and there for cannot be calculated how much time has been spent outside the home. A government spokesman spoke on SKAI’s radio in regards to tightening movement. “The travel form is not to be used six times a day,” he said, while confirming his thoughts on setting a time limit on movemnets.
