The Deputy Minister of Health said that the self tests will be nasal or saliva tests with simple instructions for use.
They will be available in early April from the country’s pharmacies. “In order to avoid overcrowding in the first days, priority will be given to people up to 67 years old because they are active at work.”
In case of a positive result, the citizens in a public sector will take a rapid test to confirm the result.
The test will be mandatory for employees in shipping, catering, tourism, courts.
Self-tests are also introduced once a week for students and teachers. The selftesting.gov.gr platform will operate for the declaration of a positive result .
