A ray of optimism from the new data published by EODY, as in Attica are now detected less than 600 new cases of coronavirus, while an improved picture is recorded in other parts of the country.

Specifically, today, Thursday, June 3, EODY announced:
“The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 1,239, of which 1 was identified after checks at the country’s gates.
The total number of cases amounts to 406,751 (daily change + 0.3%), of which 51.2% are men. Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 33 are considered related to travel from abroad and 1,779 are related to an already known case.
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 39, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 12,184 deaths have been recorded. 95.2% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
The number of patients treated by intubation is 476 (61.9% men). Their median age is 67 years. 87.0% have an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,473 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
The admission of new Covid-19 patients to the hospitals of the territory is 145 (daily change -26.77%). The average seven-day import is 186 patients.
The median age of cases is 43 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of death is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).

A total of 5,791,280 vaccinations have been carried out (+99.462) on 02/06/2021.
3,752,252 vaccinations with at least 1 dose have been given (+53.242) on 02/06/2021.
