Cases in Greece are still moving at high levels. See where the new cases are located today and what the picture is in Attica.
Another 391 new cases were announced today by EODY in Greece, with 161 of them being located in Attica.
It is worth noting that the Zakynthos along with Attica is also at level 3 – “Increased Surveillance” – of the “Charter of health safety and protection against covid-19 infection”.
This is because we are still facing strict measures up until the 12th of October. Therefore stricter measures put us on level three. The map will be updated every 14 days based on the recommendations of a special committee of infectious diseases of the Ministry of Health or more often, when this is required by the health and epidemiological indicators. The definition of measures and rules is subject to modification based on the latest scientific and research data.

At the same time, intubated patients with Covid-19 “jumped” to 98, from 91 on Thursday.
The relevant Agency also recorded another death from complications of the disease caused by the virus.
In total, the incidents amounted to 21,772 while the victims of the epidemic are 431.

Detailed announcement of Friday by EODY:
“Today we announce 391 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 56 are associated with known outbreaks and 36 were detected following checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 21772, of which 55.7% are men.
3213 (14.8%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 8892 (40.8%) are related to an already known case.
