Greece:- Coronavirus daily report. 460 new cases within the last 24 hours and 5 deaths.

Today we announce 460 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 142 are associated with known outbreaks and 26 were detected following checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 19346, of which 55.8% are men.

 

2991 (15.5%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 7967 (41.2%) are related to an already known case.

 

85 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 69 years. 26 (30.6%) are women and the rest are men. 88.2% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are aged 70 years and older. 217 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

 

Finally, we have 5 more recorded deaths and 398 deaths in total in the country. 147 (36.9%) women and the rest men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 78 years and 96.2% had an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.

117 cases in Pella, of which 114 are connected by confluence in the food processing industry

2 cases in Pieria, of which 1 is associated with a known confluence

2 cases of Samos, of which 1 is associated with a known confluence

15 cases in Trikala, of which 6 are associated with traces of confirmed cases
