Today we announce 150 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 17 were detected after checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 7222, of which 55.2% are men.
1692 (23.4%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 3394 (47.0%) are related to an already known case.
23 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 66 years. 7 (30.4%) are women and the rest are men. 52.2% have an underlying disease or are aged 70 and over. 136 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 2 more recorded deaths and 230 deaths in total in the country. 81 (35.2%) women and the rest men. The median age of our dying fellow citizens was 77 years and 95.7% had an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
According to the report, out of the total of 7222 cases, 1692 (23.4%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad, 3394 (47.0%) are related to an already known case and the rest are not related to either a trip or another known case or is still under investigation. The average age of cases is 40 years (range 0 to 102 years), while the average age of death is 77 years.
