Along with the announcement for the 2781 new cases that the coronavirus in Greece in the last 24 hours, EODY also informs about the spread on the map.
The announcement of EODY states: The new laboratory confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 2,781, of which 2 were identified after checks at the entrance gates of the country. The total number of cases amounts to 340,493 (daily change + 0.8%), of which 51.3% men.
Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 54 are considered related to travel from abroad and 2,455 are related to an already known case. The Rt for the territory is estimated at 0.97 (95% Crl: 0.37 – 1.46).
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 63, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 10,242 deaths have been recorded. 95.4% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
The number of patients treated by intubation is 805 (62.4% men). Their median age is 68 years. 85.3% have underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,087 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
The admission of new Covid-19 patients to the hospitals of the territory is 530 (daily change + 44.41%). The average seven-day admission is 461 patients. The median age of cases is 44 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of death is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
That is exactly where the new infections were recorded throughout the country per Regional Unit.
Thus, 1263 cases were detected in Attica, 413 in Thessaloniki, 78 in Larissa, 60 were recorded in Achaia and 42 in Kozani.
