EODY on Thursday afternoon announced 204 new cases of the new coronavirus in Greece, of which 12 at the entrance gates. Five people have lost their lives due to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

A young woman, 22 years old, is the new confirmed case in Zakynthos which resulted from the tracing of another confirmed case in Paros, where the girl of Zakynthian origin spent part of her vacation.
The young woman was informed by EODY to give a sample, as a girl from the company with whom she was in Paros was diagnosed positive. The 22-year-old gave a sample and as it turned out to be positive, she is under house arrest.
A young Zakynthian hotel employee, also 22 years old, is also under house arrest, who tested positive for the coronavirus this morning.

22 patients with a median age of 65 are treated by intubation. 7 (31.8%) are women and the rest are men. 54.5% have an underlying disease or are aged 70 years and older.
136 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 5 more recorded deaths and 221 deaths in total in the country. 75 (33.9%) women and the rest men. The median age of death was 77 years and 95.9% had an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
