Greece:- Coronavirus updates. Last 24 hours 153 new cases. No deaths.

The announcement of EODY

Today we announce 153 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 11 were detected after checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 5123, of which 54.6% involve men.

1370 (26.7%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 2551 (49.8%) are related to an already known case.

14 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 70 years. 3 (21.4%) are women and the rest are men. 64.3% have an underlying disease or are aged 70 and over. 129 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

Finally, no new deaths have been recorded and we have a total of 210 deaths in the country. 67 (31.9%) women and the rest men. The median age of our dying fellow citizens was 76 years and 95.7% had an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.

It is noted that this number of new cases per day is the second largest since the beginning of the epidemic in Greece.

3 in P.E. Corfu,
1 in P.E. Kilkis,
1 in P.E. Kozani,
3 in P.E. Corinth,
9 in P.E. Cyclades, of which 8 relate to confluence in a restaurant
14 in P.E. Larissa,
2 in P.E. Magnesia, both from the camp of Stefanoviki
3 in P.E. Pella,
1 in P.E. Messinia,
3 in P.E. Halkidiki,
1 in P.E. Chania.
The total number of cases is 5123 (daily change + 3.1%), of which 54.6% are men. Of the total number of cases, 1370 (26.7%) are considered related to travel from abroad, 2551 (49.8%) are related to an already known case and the rest are not related to travel or any other known case or are still under investigation.
