Greece:- New measures to be announced in two areas of Greece. What to expect.

A new package of measures is being prepared by the government due to the coronavirus pandemic – What measures will be implemented

The rapid rise in coronavirus cases is forcing the government to take new measures to reduce the pandemic of the virus in our country. In fact, these new measures against the coronavirus are expected to be announced in the afternoon by the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalia.

 

 

According to the government editor of Open TV and ethnos.gr, Spyros Mourelatos, the specific measures include the ban on the operation of bars, cafes, restaurants from 00:00 to 07:00, the ban on festivals and other related events, the use of a mask by citizens even outdoors where necessary.

 

The same measures include the passage through the northern gates of the country. According to information from Open TV, the imposition of new restrictive measures in two regional units of the country will be announced. It is a mainland area and an island. The “model” of Paros will be imposed in both these areas to be announced.  While there will be an update of the list of countries for flights to and from Greece.

At the same time, on Friday afternoon, a meeting was held at the Maximos Palace, under Kyriakos Mitsotakis, against the background of the beginning of the school year, in which issues of coordination were discussed in view of the opening of schools, under the exceptional conditions created by the coronavirus pandemic.

 

The relevant announcements will be made on Tuesday, September 1, by the Ministries of Education and Interior and by the Central Union of Greek Municipalities. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Education and Religions, Niki Kerameos, the Minister of Interior, Takis Theodorikakos, the Minister of State, George Gerapetritis, the Deputy Minister for Primary and Secondary Education and the Minister of Special Education, Sophia Zophio coordination of the government project Akis Skertsos.
