Greece:- Police warn of malware via e-mail

Update on a new forgery – fraudulent e-mail that is allegedly circulated as a letter from the Greek Police

A new, obviously false – deceptive message has been identified, which is being circulated as a so-called letter from the Greek Police, via e-mail, from perpetrators who are obviously trying to deceive – deceiving citizens.

Citizens are asked to delete this message and “not open” the attached files to avoid being infected by malware.

The case is being investigated by the Hellenic Police Cybercrime Prosecution Directorate.
