Greece:- Strict fines from today for those who remain at “take away” shops
As of today, customers who stay at a shop after receiving their “take away” inside or outside will be fined.
The ruling a Joint Ministerial Decision (JMD), was published in the Government Gazette. Noting that “ the need to avoid synchronization around restaurants that provide take away services and impose appropriate sanctions”.
As of today Tuesday 02 February, 2021, a fine of 300 euros will be paid by those consumers who remain within the internal or external take away services that are provide by businesses. While the fine in the case of the company that has violated the law is up to 3,000 euros.
As mentioned in the JMD, the services of taking products in a package from the store (take away), distribution of products (delivery) and drive-through are allowed only in the context of the reasons of movement of the citizens, without customers remaining within or outside the business area they are responsible for.
