Greece:- Two tests per week for unvaccinated workers in tourism and catering

Two covid tests per week for unvaccinated workers in tourism and catering.

Employees in the tourism and catering sectors who have not been vaccinated must undergo two tests per week, announced, among others, the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalias.

As he said today during the briefing on the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, all unvaccinated workers in tourism and catering will be required to undergo two tests – a self test and a rapid test every week throughout the country.

“After today’s meeting of the Infectious Diseases Committee, it was decided that all unvaccinated workers in tourism and catering should be tested with two tests per week, a self test and a rapid test throughout the country,” he said.

Answering a journalist’s question, however, he said that it has not been clarified yet who will bear the cost of the rapid test.
