The Environmental alert Zakynthos group will be organizing the first environmental Hike in Volimes. The hike will be this Sunday, 12th January at 10.00a.m.
The group is aimed towards our environment and environmental education. During their hike they will be cleaning up as they go. They home in on being eco friendly by using Hessian bags and using cloth gloves. Anything plastic is a huge NO!
The organizer Marinetta Paganopoulou told Zakynthos informer “This Sunday we will be hosting the 1st Environmental Walk in Volimes village. It’s an environmental walk because instead of plastic bags we use old olive bags and gloves from our houses not one-use gloves. The most important thing is that we recycle the plastic that we collect.
People living in Volimes and its surrounding area or even if you just want to join in on the fun keep this Sunday free.
