The Volunteer Group of Zakynthos have organised an international book event with the idea of swapping books.
As most of you may not know the Volunteer Group had set up 4 outdoor libraries within the remote areas of Zakynthos so that people would have access to books.
As a lot of books that have been offered to the Volunteer Group have been foreign books. It was decided that it would be a good idea to hold a festival. That way these books can be given to those who can read other languages and enjoy literature of all kind.
Saturday the 23rd of November will be the day of the festival. The location will be in Solomos Square in Zakynthos town. The time will be from 11.00a.m up until 13.00p.m.
The volunteers will also be offering a few surprises that day. They invite all to come and take a book and if you can leave one of your own that you do no longer need.
