Kalamaki to have two new 5 star hotels.

According to reports the Zakynthos Municipality’s building department recently issued permits for two new five star hotels in Zakynthos.

The first license relates to the classical 5 star TARTARUGA’S BAY hotel by IONIAN GULF SA. in an area of 11,569,27 sq.m. and in an area of 7882.61 sq.m. at Gypsolithos location in Kalamaki Municipal District.

The second license relates to the classical 5-star TATRTARUGA’S COVE hotel with a capacity of 100 beds on a 13,657.88 sqm land. and in a 4004,71 sq.m land, also in Gypsolithos location in the Kalamaki Municipal District.

  1. Will these be all-inclusive? I hope not as there are already enough on the island and they are having a negative effect on bars/restaurants.

    • At present we have no idea who will take ownership or whether it will be All Inclusive, or not. When we do know we will update members.
