From Saturday 7/11 and for 3 weeks there are restrictions on the movement of citizens, as travel is allowed to go to and from work or accompanying a child to school, but also for emergency reasons.
The transfer to and from work for working hours or during work, if necessary, is done exclusively with a relevant certificate from the employer, which is issued through the Ergani Information System. For legal entities the certificate is provided by their legal representative, while for the self-employed and freelancers by themselves.
While for the transfer of students to and from the school, a relevant certificate is issued by the Principal of the school.
The relevant forms as well as detailed instructions are available on the website forma.gov.gr.

The movements are allowed only by sending an SMS to 13033 or by filling in the exceptional travel form that is available at forma.gov.gr or by handwritten certificate for the following reasons only:

- Travel for health reasons (going to a pharmacy, visiting a doctor or going to a hospital or health center, if this is recommended after relevant communication). In this case an SMS with the code 1 is sent.
- Go to an operating store of essential supplies, where it is not possible to send them in time. In this case the code 2 is used in the SMS.
- Going to a public service, if the electronic or telephone service is not possible only for urgent needs, after setting an appointment for which the citizen is informed in writing or electronically and under the additional condition of presenting the above information, as well as going to the bank, to the extent that electronic transaction is not possible. To go to a public service or bank, the code 3 is used in the SMS.
- Transfer to provide assistance to people in need, as well as to transfer a spouse or first-degree relative to and from his or her place of work, if necessary, or to accompany a student to school by a parent or guardian. In these cases (providing assistance, transferring a spouse or relative to work and accompanying a student), an SMS with the code 4 is sent.
- Going to a funeral under the conditions provided by law or for going to parents who are in a dimension that is necessary to ensure communication between parents and children, in accordance with the provisions in force. In these cases the code 5 is used in the SMS.
- Physical exercise outdoors or movement with a pet, individually or in pairs of two (2) persons, provided that in the latter case the necessary distance of one and a half (1.5) meters is observed. As well as a transition for feeding stray animals, provided that the transition takes place within the municipality of residence of the citizen. In these cases, the code 6 is used in the SMS.

The handwritten certificate must have the following information:
First name – Last name
Address
Reason for movement that falls into the above permitted categories and destination address
Date, time, signature
Mr. Hardalias addressed an appeal and a request to everyone “the movements should be reasonable and only the necessary ones, so that the measures are as effective as possible”, while he added that during the evening hours the controls will be intensive, as well as the reasons which justify movement during these hours are limited to reasons of work, health, individual exercise or movement with a pet around the area of residence of each.
Mandatory test for entry into the country
Also from Monday those who want to enter the country must have a negative PCR test. In particular, passengers on international flights must have a negative PCR up to 48 hours in advance, while those entering from the land border must have a negative PCR up to 72 hours in advance. It should be noted that there is a transitional period of 5 days, until next Tuesday for entry from land due to PCR, while the implementation of these measures does not affect the conduct of activities related to international obligations of the country.
It is also mandatory to fill in the PLF form for all those who come from abroad to any of our airports, while from Monday the obligation to fill in the PLF is valid for those who travel abroad.
Air flights
Air travel within the country is allowed only for return to permanent residence, family reunification, business and health reasons.
Prohibition of movement between prefectures
In addition, travel between prefectures is not allowed, with the exception of the 4 reasons mentioned. The return to the place of permanent residence requires a copy of the tax return E1 or Certificate of Residence of Special Use, obtained from the website www.aade.gr.
Movement within the country is allowed only for:
return to permanent residence
family reunification
professional reasons
health reasons
Primary schools and special education schools, hotels, where the possibility of suspension, the primary and secondary sector and from the tertiary specific activities remain open.
Which stores are closing
As in the spring the operation of retail is suspended, with the exception of supermarkets, mini markets, kiosks. E-commerce or home-based e-commerce services are also excluded in this phase of the suspension. The suspension also does not include the retail trade of heating oil with home delivery (KAD 47.99.85.01).
The operation of optical stores and the sale of hearing aids is also allowed, but only after a telephone call to a number given by the shopkeepers.
In addition, the operation of hairdressers and personal hygiene services, gyms, archeological sites and museums is suspended. Suspension also applies to fairs and Sunday markets, playgrounds, playgrounds, amusement parks and theme parks, nightclubs, cinemas, concert halls, theatrical performances and other performing arts, the reports.
The operation of the restaurant is also suspended, but delivery and take away from the store are allowed, which, however, cannot be the sole reason for the movement of citizens.
Especially for hairdressers, there is an extension of two days if they wish, i.e. they can operate on Saturday and Sunday, with their suspension starting on Monday at 6 in the morning.
Also, the operation of the Day Care Centers for the Elderly is suspended and like in the spring, those who need help in their daily life can go to their municipalities and receive it through the “Help at Home” program.
