Major travel agency in the Netherlands declared bankruptcy – It employed 1,150 employees

One of the largest travel agencies in the Netherlands, D-reizen, with 285 stores and 1.1.50 employees, was recently declared bankrupt.

According to the company. Due to the coronavirus crisis, and travel bans the company’s revenues were almost zero. While government aid came too late to save D-Reizen. The company, one of the largest travel companies in the country, has been facing financial problems for a long time.

The network sold trips to all tour operators in the Netherlands, to all destinations.
