PRESS RELEASE
From April 15, all e-services are mandatory –
OAED’s digital transformation is coming to an end
Following the successful introduction of new and innovative electronic services for the issuance of unemployment cards and the application for unemployment benefits, the OAED Administration decided that all e-services will now be mandatory from Wednesday, April 15th and for the rest of the emergency measures, completing thus the digital transition of the Organization and contributing to the avoidance of covid-19 dispersal.
It is recalled that as of March 11th, optional e-services have become mandatory and as of March 30th, for the first time, the unemployed can register online, obtain an unemployment card and apply for unemployment benefits, for both better service to citizens, as well as reducing congestion.
The response of the citizens to the new e-services was very large, dramatically reducing the number of applications for appointments to 118 Employment Promotion Centers (KPA2). All OAED services to the unemployed and employees are now provided digitally and there is no reason to attend KPA2. As for appointments, from April 15:
There will be no possibility to apply for an appointment.
For those unemployed who have already scheduled appointments, these will only be for those who cannot complete the online registration and / or application.
For those who are already unemployed who have already applied for an appointment, these will only be scheduled for those who cannot complete the online registration and / or application.
New users have access to more than 40 available OAED e-services exclusively electronically using TAXISnet codes.
