Late yesterday evening, Sunday 7/3/21, a 55 year old man was admitted to the Covid clinic of Zakynthos General hospital, after testing positive with the coronavirus. His state of health (problems with breathing) , lead to the doctors admitting him to the clinic.
Today Monday 8/3/21, another high school student from the 2nd High School of Zakynthos has tested positive. With this student it takes the number of positive cases from the 2nd High School to five.
Also a 72 year old gentleman tested positive from his Rapid test.
Both of today’s cases are in home quarantine for 14 days with mild symptoms.

A 48-year-old woman is the third positive case of coronavirus for today on our island. According to information, the woman is in good health and after the required examinations she was quarantined at her home for 14 days. This is another incident today on our island, which we remind you remains on the verge of being characterized as deep red due to several active cases in recent times.
