After this mornings report of the 32 year old who tested positive this morning, there have been reports of 4 more cases.
Two more women aged 35 and 52 tested positive earlier this afternoon. Both of which have had no connection with previous cases. so the cases are being treated as ‘orphan’,
It has just been announced that a hospital nurse, who was already in quarantine and a 53 year old cleaner from the General Hospital, who hadn’t been in work for the last few day, have tested positive too. Fortunately all cases have mild symptoms and are in quarantine at home.

Another four cases have been announced this evening by the General Hospital of Zakynthos. They are 3 gentleman and a young girl , Three of the four cases were in contact with previously know confirmed cases only one is considered ‘orphan’.
Despite these new cases bringing our numbers up so much the positive is that all have mild symptoms. In fact they are all in quarantine at home. Of the cases in January 3 are still hospitalised but two are in the process of being discharged.
Brining today total number of cases to 9
With todays cases the number of positive test for February have already reached 23
