The new health insurance map.
With the new data, the map of health safety and protection against the disease Covid-19 is operational as of today, after its updating. As of today, Friday, October 23, the Regional Unit of Kastoria is included in level 4 (Increased Risk), while level 3 (increased surveillance) is now included in the Regional Units of Thessaloniki, Viotia, Larissa and Serres. As for Ioannina, they remain at level 3 for the time being, however the situation will be re-evaluated on Saturday, October 24th. At the same time, the Regional Unit of Kozani remains at level 4.
Specifically for the Regional Unit of Kastoria, the mandatory use of a mask applies to all indoor and outdoor workplaces, the suspension of all gatherings in public and private spaces, and the ban on movement outside the Regional Unit of Kastoria, while from the On October 24 at 6 in the morning, the traffic ban also applies from 12:30 am to 5:00 in the morning.
Also, the operation of the following is suspended:
– Courts, Prosecution Offices, Mortgage Offices, all kinds of Cadastral Offices and Branches of the body “Hellenic Cadastre”

– Hairdressers, personal hygiene services, etc.
– Conferences / Exhibitions
– Amusement park services and theme parks
It is noted that the operation of schools and all kinds of educational structures continues with the mandatory use of masks everywhere, while for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) only tele-education will apply.
In relation to the operation of the following: Public Services, Private Enterprises, Transport, Food Stores (eg supermarkets, mini markets, bakeries, butchers, fishmongers), Popular Markets, Places of Worship / Religious Ceremonies, Hospitals, Hospitals, Centers, Elderly care units, centers for the chronically ill, structures and hostels for vulnerable groups, transitional hostels for the homeless, social structures for the immediate treatment of poverty (dormitories, day care centers, social groceries, public pharmacies, public pharmacies), public pharmacies, camps, Driver Training Activities and Vehicle Technical Inspection Services, the provisions of the Official Gazette, Issue B, 4484 / 11-10-2020 apply.
Of the 74 regional units of the country, 26 belong to level 1, (on standby), 22 are at level 2, (under surveillance), 24 at level 3, (under increased surveillance), and 2 at level 4 (increased risk).
So far, based on the Charter of Health Safety and Protection, the Regional Units have been distributed as follows:
Zakynthos up to date has recorded 56 cases of covid-19 since the pandemic, with 2 deaths.
