Panos Zarlas: 28-year-old winner of reality show killed on his birthday

The winner of Greek reality show “Power of Love I” Panos Zarlas was killed on a traffic accident he had with his motorcycle. Tragic irony: the 28-year-old was killed on the day of his birthday.

Zarlas was driving on Syggrou Avenue at 2 o’ clock Friday morning when his probably lost control of the motorcycle that crashed on the protection rails between the two directions of one of the main avenues of the Greek capital that connects the coastal avenues to the city.

He was driving on the lane to Athens coming from Piraeus.

He was not wearing a helmet, media report.

According to police sources, he died on at spot instantaneously.

The causes of the fatal accident remain unknown, so far.

Zarlas’ family and friends call on potential eyewitnesses to go to police and testify.

He had won the  last years’ reality show Power of Love.

His death has shocked not only his family but also his fans, co-workers and the Greek lifestyle community as he was a polite young man everybody loved to be with.

Traffic police investigates, his body is to undergo autopsy.
