Police pretending to be customers in a Laganas club, found violations regarding the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
A 15-day closure of the premises and a 10,000-euro fine, for violations of Article 285 of the penal code were imposed on Monday, after checks concerning coronavirus rules and regulations were not in place.
Security men of the Zakynthos Police Department, introduced themselves as customers, entered the club and found the violations, which were for the number of spectators and standing customers, while the owner of the store was arrested, according to zantereport.gr.
Another 10,000 Euros fine and a three-day closure was also imposed on another club in Alykanas for violating the opening hours, the owner of which was also arrested.

Yesterday morning, the owner of a supermarket in Laganas was arrested for selling ampoules and laughter gas balloons.
The operation of the Zakynthos Police Department took place after a complaint. Police found and confiscated 537 balloons, 320 ampoules and 136 gas launchers at the store of the detainee.
