Press release from Member of Parliament, Dionysios Aktipis.

In a press release yesterday, Mr Aktypis talked of working together with new elected Mayor, Nikitas Aretakis.  His press office released the statement below.

Athens 26,th August, 2019.

The commitment for the immediate collection of waste from the streets of Zakynthos and their more efficient management was received by MP ND. Zakynthos Dionysis Aktypis from the new Mayor of Zakynthos Nikita Aretakis.
In a constructive and extraordinary climate a meeting that took place yesterday at 13:00, at the Town Hall, in regards to this major issue that worries Zakynthos, especially during the tourist season and has an impact on public health and the environment, was discussed in detail.
At the same time, the mayor and Member of Parliament exchanged views on development actions and investments that can give a dynamic and promising perspective to the island, while all issues of local self-government concern of Zakynthos were addressed.
The two men pledged to maintain open channels of communication, working for the benefit of Zakynthos and its citizens.

Mr Nikitas Aretakis is to take office on the 1st of September, 2019.
