We are all happy for our favourite places to open again after such a long time but please take a look at the fines they will receive if they don’t comply to the rules. Please be considerate and don’t try to make any of them do something they shouldn’t. Enyjoy
The sanctions
1. Non-observance of the rules – of customer limits, observance of rules of hygiene and disinfection, limit of persons, prohibition of music.
For businesses up to 20 sq.m.
1st violation – Administrative fine of 2,000 euros and suspension of operation for 15 days
2nd violation – Administrative fine of 4,000 euros and suspension of operation for 30 days
3rd violation – if done within 3 months from the original, the operation is suspended for 30 days, if done within 6 months from the original, the operation is suspended for 60 days.
For businesses over 20sqm up to 100sqm
1st violation – the administrative fine is scaled according to the percentage of exceeding the limits: 1% -25% 3,000 euros, 25% -50% 5,000 euros, 50% -75% 7,000, more than 75% 10,000 euros and suspension of operation for 15 days.
2nd violation – the administrative fine is scaled according to the percentage of exceeding the limits: 1% -25% 10,000 euros, 25% -50% 15,000 euros, 50% -75% 20,000, more than 75% 30,000 euros and suspension of operation for 30 days.
3rd violation – if done within 3 months from the original, the operation is suspended for 30 days, if done within 6 months from the original, the operation is suspended for 60 days.
For businesses over 100 sqm and up to 300 sqm
1st violation – the administrative fine is scaled according to the percentage of exceeding the limits: 1% -25% 10,000 euros, 25% -50% 11,000 euros, 50% -75% 13,000, more than 75% 15,000 euros and suspension of operation for 15 days.
2nd violation – the administrative fine is scaled according to the percentage of exceeding the limits: 1% -25% 15,000 euros, 25% -50% 25,000 euros, 50% -75% 35,000, more than 75% 50,000 euros and suspension of operation for 30 days.
3rd violation – if done within 3 months from the original, the operation is suspended for 30 days, if done within 6 months from the original, the operation is suspended for 60 days.
For businesses over 300 sq.m.
1st violation – the administrative fine is scaled according to the percentage of exceeding the limits: 1% -25% 15,000 euros, 25% -50% 20,000 euros, 50% -75% 25,000, greater than 75% 30,000 euros and suspension of operation for 15 days.
2nd violation – the administrative fine is scaled according to the percentage of exceeding the limits: 1% -25% 30,000 euros, 25% -50% 35,000 euros, 50% -75% 40,000, more than 75% 50,000 euros and suspension of operation for 30 days.
3rd violation – if done within 3 months from the original, the operation is suspended for 30 days, if done within 6 months from the original, the operation is suspended for 60 days.
2. Exceeding the operating hours, administrative fine of 1,000 euros.
3. Stay of customers (waiting for receipt is allowed) in indoor or outdoor areas of business responsibility, administrative fine of 3,000 euros to the company / legal entity (OE, LTD, etc) and suspension of operation for 15 days (and 300 euros per customer).
4. Failure to comply with the suspension of business operation imposes a fine on companies / legal entities (OE, EU, LTD, etc.) 5,000 euros while on natural persons who are responsible for the operation of the premises 3,000 euros.
