The Volunteer Group Of Zakynthos were out this morning. In an effort to make the celebration day of Saint Dionysios a little more cleaner!
Unfortunately, the down side of every event is the rubbish it leaves behind. In this case within our our harbour and surrounding area. Members of the Volunteer Group of Zakynthos with a fishing net decided to clean out the mess in our waters. Then headed along the coast to pick up what shouldn’t be there.
A message to all reminding us that we should be aware of the problems our environment is facing. The Group wished every one well during the Saint’s celebrations, prosperity and environmental awareness for Zakynthos.
