Saturday 14th of December, at 19.30p.m the Saint Marcos Christmas tree will be lit up.

On Saturday 14/12/2019 at 5:30 pm, in St. Marco’s Square, the local club of the Greek Guiding Association as part of their programme, will take part in events with Christmas constructions made from recycled material.
At 7:30 pm the Christmas Tree will be lit by the Mayor of Zakynthos, Mr. Nikitas Aretakis, in the presence of the Regional Governor, Mr. George Stassinopoulos, the Vice Mayor of Culture Mr. Aggelos Sevastiadis as well as members of the Zakynthos Municipal, Regional and Local Council, Chamber of commerce and Hoteliers.
Santa Claus will be greeting young and old alike while students from the European Languages Centers will sing Christmas carols.
The Philharmonic Orchestra of Zakynthos will also be present playing Christmas tunes for an even more festive atmosphere.
