The Aftermath of a fire.

After scrolling through my news feed on the popular social media Facebook, I couldn’t help notice a certain post. The aftermath of a recent fire that broke out between Kilomeno and Agala. Sadly to say the ash and cinders brough sorry to my heart. The words of my friend Aggelos Sevastiadis got me thinking. Just how long will it be before we have no forest left?

Below I have shared the same facebook post that Aggelos took the time to write. Most may know him for his T.V programme “Treke Gireve”, shown on Ionian channel. He talks about the fire and saving what forest we have left in Zakynthos. He also talks about leaving an inheritace of natural beauty Zakynthos has given. Our forests are what makes Zakynthos so beautiful, just have a look at the after math one fire caused. Lifeless, death and destruction can only be desribed what is left. Do you want this for you children or grandchildren? I certainly do not!

Aggelos has provided photos and a video click on his page to see.
