Two single-act plays of Stavros Tsiolis: “The auction” & “The astronauts wife”. Two modern monologues written in the incomparable style of Stavros Tsiloi, stunning, elaborately staggered, funny and desperate. Two amusing scripts, but at the same time full of despair, referring to Mr. Aristides and Gogos, the people next door, confronted with the impasses resulting from their choices made in life. Two stories of people, who apparently have nothing in common, evolve over the same musical background: The Sound of Absence.

An old custom (the habit of the Zakynthians at the Sunday after Easter – known as Sunday of (doubting)Thomas – to lay their picnic on the wild flowers of the ancient olive grove, in the shadow of the hill with the picturesque chapel, the favourite of Dionysios Solomos). A custom, that for quite a few decades went into decline, over the last few years has been brought back to life.

‘THE DIVISION’

The Keri Reading Club, Plessas Bookstores and Psychogios Publishers invite you to the presentation of Philomila Lapatas book “The Division”.
Philologist, historian and archaeologist, Dionysia Gouskos, will talk about the book.
The event will be presented by the members of the Keri Reading Club, Denia Patra and Marilena Papadatou. The author will chat with the public and sign copies of her book.
THE MANUSCRIPTS OF PAVLOS KARRER

The Museum of Solomos & Eminent Zakynthians invites you to the first part of the presentation of the manuscripts – dated 1863 to 1869 – of Pavlos Karrer, which are kept in the Archives of the Museum.
The works will be presented by the pianist Dionysis Semitekolos.
The event will be presented by the 1st Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, Dionysis Serras.
