Day of Silence Yoga and Meditation

The day involves motion awareness, staying in selected positions of Yoga, breathing and meditation practices – in silence.
Those who are interested in participating must register for information and to keep a place. Everyone can follow it, independent of experience, as long as you respect your bodys needs and have your doctors agreement if you face particular physical challenges.

Walk in Kastellia of Ano Gerakari
The group “Me Parea Kromatizoume ti Zoi / With Company we Colour Life” invites us on a leisurely walk in Kastellia, of Ano Gerakari, in one of the most picturesque seaside villages of Zakynthos. Meeting at 11.00, on the road leading to Ammoudi Beach.
The walk is circular with a distance of about 5 kilometres, which has many spring pictures of Zakynthian nature with olives, herbs, rich and unspoiled vegetation, orange groves that emerge between lush vegetation, coastal inlets with golden beaches . The walk will start from the heart of the southern areas of Ano Gerakari.
Directions, from town:
• Starting from Zakynthos town, we take the road to Gaitani, driving on the Zakynthos-Volimes road.
• After two kilometres we find a crossroad where there is a sign heading to Alykes, Alykanas, Kallipados and we turn right.
• We are heading straight ahead and after crossing the outskirts of the village of Vanatos, Kallipados and the fringes of Kato Gerakari (we do not turn anywhere) we will be at the intersection with a sign that points to the right towards Ano Gerakari. Here we turn right to Ano Gerakari and without turning anywhere, we will be about 1.5 km away from our meeting point.
