What – walk / hike.
Where – through the forest area between the villages of Louha, Gyri and Agii Pantes.
When – meeting at 11.00 on the flat area at the Monastery Yperagathou, Koiliomenos.
With the group ‘with company we colour life’. The circular hike, of approx. 6kms, will involve walking between a green forest area with pine trees, shrubs, oaks, heathers, thyme, mint, sage and many other aromatic plants.
What – a book presentation.
Where – at the Leski / Club O Zakynthos, Agios Markus square.
When – 18.30.
Therianos publications present the book of Dionysia Therianou “Learning to Fly – The Kiss of the Spirit”. For the book will speak: Alexis Kostalas, Angelos Pyriohos, Vassilis Prassas, Anastasia Korinthiou. In the theatrical analogy, the following take part: Kostas Kapodistrias, Fotini Savvatianou.
Surrounded by the musical vocal ensemble “Ionian Wave” of Timothy Arvanitakis and Giorgos Houvardas with the song “Nanouri / Lullaby” composed with the book as motivation.
What – a Kalveia philological – music event.
Where – at the church of Panagoulas Vanato.

The Cultural Centre of Speech “Verily” dedicates the fourth event of its circle of activities to Zakynthos and the huge patriot Poet Andreas Kalvo – Ioannidis (1792-1869), on the occasion of 150 years since his death, this year. In the first part, philologist Giorgos Fiorentinos will give a lecture entitled: “The un-iconist Andreas Kalvos, between Solomos and Foscolo”.
In the second part, two cooperating choirs: the Children – Juvenile Choir and the Educational Choir, both from Zakynthos, will perform melodious poems by the honoured Poet and a newer chant, related to Kalvos’ physiognomy. Musician Antonis Kladis directs, while at the piano will be Dimitris Anastopoulos.
