This afternoon zaCLEANthos were at it again. This time their meeting point was at Katastari.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At the 2nd view point the team got together at the main road in which connects the rest of the Island with some of our most famous beaches. Unfortunately this area has become a dumping area for any kind of waste.

 

 

 

 

 

The team set off today at 12.00 Noon with 14 volunteers. They managed to collect sixty four large bags between them. Including five tyres which had been carelessly thrown in the scrubland.

Louise is Australian born and has been a Greek citizen since 1991. She has deep cultural ties with the island, often writing about Zakynthian Traditions and Culture.
