Delivering the study on the restoration and reopening of the Zakynthos Public Historical Library to the Mayor, N. Aretakis. To date, I have visited the Ministry of Education four times in total and have held meetings with both the Minister himself and with Ministry officials, with the central topic of discussion being the restoration and reopening of the Zakynthos Public Historical Library.
From now on, however, it is up to the Municipal Authority to take the necessary steps to get the building repaired and our library reopened. I look forward to the immediate take-up of the necessary initiatives by the Municipality, which is also responsible for the preparation of the specific project.
The Public Historical Library of Zakynthos should soon open its doors to the public, and function as an accessible, functional and enjoyable space for children and adults.
