Zakynthos:- Ferry boat line closed until further notice due to extreme weather conditions.

The ferry line between Zakynthos and Kyllini has closed.

The ferry line will remain closed between Zakynthos and Kyllini for the next few hours due to the extreme weather conditions.

The first ferry left the island this morning as normal.

Winds are due to reach up to 9 beaufort.

Anyone wishing to travel are advised to contact The Zakynthian Coast Guard on 26950 28117 or Levante Ferries on 26950 25400. In order to find out when the crossing will reopen.
