One Senior high school student in Zakynthos was diagnosed with coronavirus, whose self-test was also positive. However, the student had not gone to school, so there is no reason to suspend the school’s operation or quarantine his classmates.
Another high school student’s molecular test came back negative, after having the molecuar test as part of protocol a seeing his self test was positive.
Negative were the molecular tests of the four teachers to whom their self tests were positive this moring. As well as students of a kindergarten and primary school.
Thus, in total, out of the 6 positive self tests confirmed this morning, on teachers and students of all school levels of Zakynthos, with a molecular test as per protocol, only one was confirmed as positive, that of the senior high school student.
It is very important to note that parents should get, from today until Wednesday. the self tests that their children will need to attend school and not wait til the last minute. Tests should be done every Thursday and Monday.
