The following applies to courts, prosecutors’ offices and military courts:

The other cases are obligatorily postponed by the court to the next trial, and the parties, if they have been legally summoned, are not summoned again.
b) For substance differences:
ba) Appeals are heard against the acts of imposition of measures to secure debts to the state of article 46 of law 4174/2013 (AD 170)
bb) the cases for which a joint or separate statement has been submitted by all parties regarding a performance without appearing at the hearing as defined in par. 2 of article 133 of the Code of Administrative Procedure (Law 2717/1999, A ’97) and in par. 2 of article 157 of law 4764/2020 (A ‘256), provided that the other legal conditions for their discussion are met. The other cases are obligatorily postponed by the court to the next trial, and the parties, if they have been legally summoned, are not summoned again.
c) Requests for an interim injunction are considered.
d) Applications for temporary judicial protection are adjudicated.
e) Objections are submitted and adjudicated against the decision to detain a foreigner and requests for revocation against the court decisions issued on the objections, according to paragraphs 3-6 of article 76 of Law 3386/2005 (A ‘212).
f) Legal aid is submitted and adjudicated, according to par. 5 of article one of the Act of Legislative Content of 25.2.2020 (A ’42), which was ratified by article 1 of law 4682/2020 (A’ 76).
g) Conferences are held remotely using official technological means, as well as emergency conferences with physical presence.
h) Decisions are published.
2. (a) The following shall be suspended:
(aa) trials before civil and criminal courts;
ab) the legal and judicial deadlines for the conduct of procedural acts and other actions before the services of courts and prosecutors, as well as the statute of limitations for related claims;
(ac) in accordance with the provisions in force, the procedures for enforcement and the conduct of auctions.
b) Excluded from the application of circumstance a):
ba) The deadlines provided in articles 215, 237, 238 of the ICCPR, as well as the deadlines concerning the cases of jurisdiction of the Multi-Member and Single-Member Court of First Instance (ordinary procedure), which are adjudicated by the provisions of Law 2915/2001 (A ‘109) , as amended by Law 4055/2012 (A ’51) and the deadlines provided in Articles 4D, 4F, 4H, 4G, 4I, 4IA, 4IB and 4F of Law 3869/2010 (AD 130), as was added by article 1 of law 4745/2020 (AD 214).
bb) The trials of the ordinary procedure which are adjudicated according to the provisions of law 4335/2015 (A ’87).
bc) Appeals before the Courts of Appeal, which have been adjudicated in the first instance against the parties in the ordinary procedure or in accordance with the provisions of the special procedures. The trials of the previous paragraph are conducted either with a personal representation of the attorneys of the parties, or with a statement of articles 242 and 524 of the ICCPR, which is submitted by at least one (1) of the attorneys of the parties.

If all the parties have submitted a statement under the preceding paragraph, the case shall be heard in the presence of the parties’ attorneys, without the examination of witnesses. In the event that the statement of the above paragraph is not submitted by the attorneys of the parties, the cases are withdrawn and not discussed, without the presence of the attorneys of the parties being required. Consensual requests for postponement for sub. bb) to bg), are submitted in accordance with par. 2 of article 158 of law 4764/2020.
bi) The second instance voluntary jurisdiction trials, the second instance trials concerning special laws which are tried by the voluntary jurisdiction procedure and the second instance trials of Law 3869/2010 and Article 1 of Law 4745/2020, which are made in person by the attorneys of the parties and exclusively with the possibility of presenting affidavits.
b) The adjudication of lawsuits of article 22 of law 1264/1982 (A ’79).

For criminal proceedings commenced before the date of commencement of the stay and suspended for trial within the period of suspension, the court shall, on a case-by-case basis, decide on a case-by-case basis to adjudicate or re-adjourn them, taking into account the above exceptions. , without being bound by them.
The more specific issues related to the smooth conduct of the work of the judicial services and prosecutors of the country, as well as those that, in each case and at the discretion of each of their administrative bodies, are urgent and need immediate address, are regulated by decisions of administrative bodies of them.
Conferences, as well as the handling of any action concerning the functioning of the judicial services and prosecutors’ offices, shall, if possible, be carried out remotely using technological means. In order to facilitate the information of parties, witnesses and lawyers, the adjournment of the trial and the appointment of a new court shall be notified by the Registrar to the Bar Association of the seat of the Court and, if the Court has a website, shall be posted therein.
Temporary suspension of all educational and training activities of the National School of Judicial Officers (NSS).
Exceptionally, the courses may be conducted, if possible, through the MOODLE digital platform or other web application.
The internship of the students of KSTD educational series of all directions is carried out with physical presence. By decision of the General Director of the NAP, the internship can be carried out remotely using official technological means, if there are special circumstances.
