Intensive inspections were carried out throughout the Ionian Islands by special teams of the Services of the respective Police Directorates for the implementation of the measures to prevent and limit the spread of coronavirus.
In particular, yesterday (26.01.2021), 17 violations were confirmed in Corfu, 5 in Zakynthos, 3 in Kefalonia and 2 in Lefkada for restriction of movement and an equal number of administrative fines of 300 Euros were imposed.
In the same context, 8 violations were found in Corfu, 1 in Kefalonia and 1 in Zakynthos for non-use of a mask, for which an administrative fine of 300 Euros was implemented.
