Another action was carried out by the Environmental-Social Responsibility & Awakening groups, “Green Activist Group” and “zaCLEANthos”.

This time they were in the coastal zone of the city, managing to fill 45 bags (110 liters) of plastic and other garbage that you and I  throw away, on a daily basis!


Greek and foreign volunteers also took part in this action.

Congratulations to everybody!!!

… every weekend in the winter, many times in the summer and in their own free time these amazing people have been trying to make Zakynthos a better place!!! ♻️✅
Today in Zakynthos ⚓ we scored 45 huge bin bags in 1.5h!

Louise is Australian born and has been a Greek citizen since 1991. She has deep cultural ties with the island, often writing about Zakynthian Traditions and Culture.
