70 year old driver charged.

You may recall a few days ago,  a video showing footage from a CCTV camera of a pedestrian being hit on a crossing, in Argassi. People were even more shocked when the driver seemed to make no attempt in apologising for his actions.

As the video made its way around on Social Media with 24 shares and over 4,500 views just from the source page, the comments that followed of disgust of such behaviour,  didn’t take long before it fell into authorities hands, forcing them to take action.  They were able to home in on the number plates and arrest the driver, a 70 year old man. He was taken into custody and then taken immediately to the District Attorney of Zakynthos.

Zakynthos Informer reminds our readers, that the man who was hit by the driver was not injured nor were the other pedestrians, including a woman pushing a young child in a pram.
